Privacy

The short version
No accounts, no cookies, no tracking, no ads, nothing sold. Browsing the goods and essays keeps nothing about you. The only thing we keep is a request you choose to send the studio, for 180 days.
Browsing (every tool and every JSON address)
- To stop abuse, requests are counted per IP address for a minute at a time (about 60 a minute). The count is held by our host's rate limiter and is not stored by us.
- Each request writes one log line: which tool or address was used, whether it worked and how long it took. Never what you typed, never your address. Logs are kept by our host for a few days.
- Each request is also added to aggregate usage counts: the tool or address, which kind of assistant made it (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and so on, as a family name), whether it worked and how long it took. No IP address, no identifier, nothing you typed.
- The essays and goods come from our own data and from our shop's catalogue. Nothing about you is sent to them.
Requests to the studio (request_custom)
When you or your assistant send the studio a request, we keep:
- the request itself (up to 2,000 characters), its kind, and the product it is about, if any;
- an email address, only if you choose to give one, so we can send the answer;
- a one-way hash of your IP address and the day, which lets us spot a flood of requests without being able to link you across days;
- our answer, and a hash of your private token (we cannot read the token back; only you hold it).
A person at the studio reads requests and writes answers. If you left an email address, the answer is sent to it from squatch.cc by our email provider. Every request is deleted automatically 180 days after its last change. To have yours deleted sooner, write to hello@squatch.cc with its SQ- reference.
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare hosts the server and its database, and handles every connection, so it necessarily sees, and may briefly log, your IP address.
- The AI app you use (Claude, ChatGPT and others) sees your conversation under its own privacy policy. We never see your conversation; we see only the tool calls it makes.
- Buying happens off this server: a checkout link opens shop.squatch.cc, run by Fourthwall under its own privacy policy, or, for the designs the studio sells itself, store.squatch.cc, whose privacy page covers that purchase. You enter your details and pay there.
What we never do
Sell or share your information, use it for advertising, or train AI models on it. This server is not directed at children under 13.
